Peer Review Policy

At DRAVIDIAN JOURNAL OF COMMERCE AND MANAGEMENT STUDIES, published by Dravidian Publication, we are committed to maintaining academic excellence and publication ethics. Our journal follows a Double-Blind Peer Review process in line with guidelines prescribed by ISSN, UGC-CARE, COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), and other recognized indexing agencies.

Type of Peer Review

We follow the Double-Blind Peer Review model:
  • The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential from each other.
  • This process ensures impartiality, objectivity, and ethical assessment of scholarly work.

Peer Review Process Followed by Our Journal

a. Initial Editorial Screening
Each submission undergoes a preliminary check by the editorial board to assess:
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope.
  • Adherence to submission guidelines.
  • Plagiarism using reliable detection tools.
Manuscripts not meeting these criteria are returned to the author without peer review.
b. Assignment to Reviewers
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to two or more subject experts for evaluation. Reviewers are chosen based on their expertise, qualifications, and familiarity with the subject area.
c. Review Criteria
Reviewers assess submissions on:
  • Originality and contribution to the field.
  • Rigor and appropriateness of methodology.
  • Clarity and coherence of argument.
  • Referencing and academic writing quality.
  • Ethical standards.
d. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board may decide to:
  • Accept the manuscript (with or without minor revisions).
  • Request major revisions and resubmission.
  • Reject the manuscript with feedback.
The Editor-in-Chief/Managing Editor reserves the final decision authority.
